Anemone flowers. There are 120 varities of the anemone plants. These perennial plants grow in Europe, North America and Japan. The name anemone comes from the Greek meaning Wind flower. In B.C. the cut flower is available late February through to April. They come in white, white/purple, magenta and purple. Purple seen in pictures. I like to send them out in bouquet closed and then the surprise comes when they open. They are showy.

Phalaeopsis and More
The auction was great this week. For Easter there is tons of Easter Lilys (plants) they are very fragrant and elegant but not my first choice. Phalaeopsis plants and Peace Lily plants would be my 1st and 2nd choice, when it comes to making a choice for a Easter Plant. Any example of the flower on the Phalaeopsis is shown in photo. They come in several colours. Of course the white is the most popular. We have white, deep purple, white dotted purple, white with pink, and magenta with pale yell0w. Great choices!
